APACUE
Membership
Being part of APACUE is
your connection to educational institutions around Atlantic Canada.
We are an essential link for members to share ideas,
successes, establish new partnerships and provide support to each other.
We encourage you to nominate an individual from your institution or put
your own name forward, to contribute to the well-being and growth of this
organization by serving on the Executive. As a general rule,
members of the Executive meet virtually through Elluminate Live once a
month and attend the APACUE Spring Forum.
APACUE
Executive Committee Vacancies
Member-at-Large (2 positions
vacant). Please nominate yourself
of someone else for these positions. Your contribution is valued.
Membership/Fees
Active membership is
open to university personnel associated with departments of continuing
education, extension, adult education, summer schools, or part-time
studies in those institutions that are members of the AAU. Associate
membership is open to individuals associated with continuing education,
extensions, and adult education activities in post-secondary institutions
that are not eligible for membership in the AAU.
Frequency of
meetings
An annual forum is
held, usually each spring. The annual forum is self-supporting; a
registration fee is charged to cover the full costs. The APACUE Executive
holds monthly teleconference calls. In addition, professional development
seminars are available to members through the CAUCE Dial and Discuss
program. Deans and Directors from member institutions meet annually to
exchange ideas, develop partnerships and discuss regional trends. These
meetings provide members the opportunity to foster growth, innovation,
and collaboration within the region.
