Joyce Kennedy Adult Learner Award: Each year APACUE presents 2 scholarship awards of $500.00 each sponsored by Joyce Kennedy, to adult learners who are enrolled in a degree-credit program at a member institution.

Awards are assessed using four criteria:

• financial need,
• academic achievements,
• contributions to community, and
• university as well as long-term goals.

These adult learners are presented with a plaque and are acknowledged at a reception during the APACUE annual Forum and AGM. The reception is an opportunity to showcase the achievements and commitment of adult learners, as well as reinforce the importance of continuing education throughout Atlantic Canada. The Joyce Kennedy award winners are announced at the annual Spring Forum.

The annual deadline is October 31st.
